Pricing
No subscription, no commission, no fee on the work you agree. A marketplace is only worth paying for once it reliably finds you work, and we are not there yet. Here is exactly what would have to be true before that changes.
Three conditions. Until all three hold, charging would be selling a promise rather than a working market.
60%
of requests answered within 24 hours
Until freelancers reliably reply, the marketplace is not yet doing its job.
150
agreed contracts a month
Enough real work changing hands that a fee is a share of value, not a toll.
Escrow
live and tested
When we can hold funds safely, protection becomes something worth paying for.
When we do charge, it will be a commission on escrow-protected jobs — taken from money that has already arrived, in exchange for holding it until you are satisfied. Not a fee to exist here. Elsewhere the equivalent runs around 10%; ours will be lower, and only on jobs that opt into protection.
Clients never pay to post, browse, or contact anyone. That one is permanent.
Nothing, for anyone. No subscription, no commission, no fee on the work you agree. Post projects, send proposals, message, and get reviewed at no charge.
There is no catch, and it is not charity. A marketplace is only worth paying for once it reliably finds you work, and ours is still growing. Charging before that would be selling a promise. We would rather earn the right to charge.
When the conditions above are met. The first charge will be a commission on escrow-protected jobs — deducted from money that has already arrived, in exchange for protecting it. Optional paid visibility comes after that.
No. Being findable is the product, and putting it behind a subscription would shrink the pool clients can hire from. If we sell anything to freelancers it will be extra visibility on top, never basic access.
Not to post, browse, or contact anyone — that is permanent. Demand is the scarce side of this market and we will not tax it.
Nothing automatically. Anything you use free today stays free for you, and any new charge would be opt-in, announced in advance, and tied to something you choose to buy.
